Where to eat

After you've worked up an appetite, you'll want to find a place to eat and Cozumel delivers the goods.  Tony Romes, Avenida 5 Sur 21, boasts the most varied menu on the island. Tony offers imported Kansas City beef as well as fresh seafood and a great Italian atmosphere.   Prima Trattoria, Avenida Melgar Entre 13 y 15 Ave., perched atop El Cantil Condominiums, Prima Trattoria offers a beautiful view of the ocean while you dine. The menu offers up the freshest seafood and great pasta.

El Capi Navigante, Avenida 10 between Calles 3 & 5 Sur, features shrimp cooked to order right at your table, as well as the standard fare of seafood dishes. Its one of the oldest seafood restaurants on the island and its bright blue façade and reputation are hard to miss.  Casa Mission, on the corner of Avenida 55 and Benito Juarez.  If you are looking for romantic, look no further. Located on the veranda of a large hacienda, Casa Mission is surrounded by beautiful gardens that provide a beautiful and private atmosphere.

Cheap Thrill

One thing that you should absolutely do in Cozumel is visit the Mayan ruins, Parador Turistico de San Gervasio and Reserva Ecologica Parque Punta Sur. These date back to 100 B.C. and are surrounded by amazing history and folklore.
